A FEW WORDS....
My workshop is called “Authentic Voice & Shamanic Singing Circle”. However, let me clarify one point regarding the use of the word “Shamanic” as it might be quite misunderstood. In my workshop, we will not sing traditional Medicines songs coming from any shamanic traditions.

By “Shamanic” I mean that we all have the ability to receive and to create songs that become our own medicines. We all have the ability to heal ourselves and music & singing are fantastic and potent tools that Nature generously gave us for us to heal. We will learn how to express our musical voice in an intuitive and creative way. This intuition being the way of our own healing path. 
We will also sing Mantras of the 4 Elements created by beloved XamAM Alba Maria from my Heart Tribe “Terra Mirim” in Brazil. Those healing songs are a connection to the power of the Tribe and Community and a beautiful celebration of the 4 Elements of Earth, Water, Air and Fire.

In that context, the use of the word “Shamanic” takes all its sense as we awake our inner healer, we connect to the 4 Elements and to the Medicines of the Tribe and Community.

Let´s sing, let´s create and listen. Let´s come together, support and hold space for one another.

Shamanic Sunday´s are a series of co-creation work & collaboration events which explore the different practices of Shamanic healing in a urban and modern environment. It is a portal opening a field where Ancient practices meets with the modernity of our society. 

This work brings back to the heart of our lives the essential connection that humans naturally have with rituals, ceremonies, prayers, being together in Sacred Space, sharing circle and above all with our organic part, the 4 Elements and especially our beautiful Mother Pachamama.

ABOUT THE CEREMONY

The ceremony will develop itself in an organic way from opening to closing and will flow through alternating rounds of Rapé and a guided Shamanic Journey to meet our own Spirit Animal. The medicine of clarity and connection, sacred tobacco Rapé, integrated with its specific Medicine Songs will open a space of healing and will broaden & sharpen the perception to dive deeper in the guided Shamanic Journey in order to receive insights, protection, messages, blessings, healing & guidance from our Spirit Animals. We have a panel of Spirit Animals that can help us on a daily basis. They act as guides, messengers, healers and protectors. In any aspect of the existence, to gain clarity, confidence or spiritual insights, our Spirit Animal carries important messages to us that deserve to be heard. During the Journey we will connect with one in particular.

PROGRAM / SCHEDULE :

The Ceremony will last around 4h time

PREPARATION FOR THE CEREMONY

Please do not eat at least 4h prior to the session. Do not use alcohol or drugs in the previous 48h (coffee and black tea are also not recommended). Sugars and salt also to be avoided in order to strengthen and deepen the process during and after the ceremony.

Bring music instruments, photos of the ancestors you want to honour and power objects. They are very welcome.

ABOUT THE MEDICINE OF RAPÉ

Rape´ is a sacred medicine, traditionally coming from the Amazon Forest and nowadays became popular and celebrated in other areas of the Earth.

Rape´is a herbal snuff made by tobacco powder mixed with ash from native trees and is known in the Amazon rainforest for its effectiveness to cleanse the mind and body, to realign energy channels, to support increased intuition, to protect from bad spirits and diseases.

The tobacco, is the Father Medicine, flower of the hearth, one of the first elementals of the Earth, used since ages in traditional rituals and considered one of the highest master plant, which brings peace and understanding in our lives.

Rape´ is given by blowing it through the nostrils and each of these blows contain an intention and a prayer. It expands and balances our energetic field, tranquillizes thoughts, decongests the nasal channels, and it is an excellent natural anxiolytic, also allowing us to get in touch with our "inner teacher" activating and improving vision and clarity of mind.

This happens because tobacco is a medicine of clarity and purification in general, in the physical plane, as well as in the energetic plane, and thus it would help us to release and dissolve mental blockages (negative thoughts, fatigue, reluctance, fears, etc.).

Rape´ increases perception, allowing us to observe in a broader way the cause and root of our blockages within the healing processes, helping us to relief the liver and removing fears, phobias, rages, anger, etc.

Rape´can be applied in a delicate way not occurring much physical effect, or in a strong dose, if requested, leading to more effects (even purging, sweating and shaking) of body healing and purification.

Being a Man in the modern society doesn´t necessarily means being strong or acting like a “warrior”. 

Our real strength and power lay in our deepest vulnerability and ability to recognise that we are fragile living creatures on Earth. Nothing is more fragile than Life and Humans are extremely vulnerable. When we open to this natural estate of vulnerability, our Hearts soften and we reconnect to the human part in us.
